Polyurethane foam is the preferred method of insulation for pipes carrying low temperature liquids and gases (down to -200°C). The foam is also suitable for transport hot liquids and gases (up to 130°C). For on-site installation, the carrier pipe (copper, mild steel, stainless etc.) is first clad with an outer casing which can be either Galvanised Steel, Aluminium or Stainless Steel as required. The casing is installed onto foam spacer blocks which creates an annular cavity and Polyurethane foam is then injected into the cavity. We are able to provide both the full sheet metal service and on-site injection. Alternatively, we supply a range of pre-insulated pipes which can be supplied in 6m or 12m lengths
